Brand and Design FAQs
One thing we’ve noticed is that many of our clients ask the same questions at the start. So here’s a collection of answers we hope will help you feel more informed, more confident, and a bit clearer about what working together might look like.
And if you’re still unsure, we’re always happy to talk things through. No pressure. Just get in touch and ask away.
Burning FAQs…
-
Absolutely. Lots of clients feel this way. Whether you're starting fresh or evolving a brand that's been around a while, my job is to help untangle the chaos and bring clarity – visually and strategically. A quick chat is usually all it takes to start forming a plan.
-
Not even close. While logos are often part of the journey, I help shape the full picture – from brand identity and tone of voice to websites and creative strategy. I’m here to make sure everything your audience sees feels right… and works.
-
Yes – and I love that part. I don’t just design and disappear. I help clients figure out how to communicate their brand, connect with audiences, and grow. Think of it as design with direction. I can also work seamlessly alongside inhouse marketing teams to help them see their design ideas come to life.
-
It’s collaborative, clear and (dare I say) enjoyable. I listen closely, ask good questions, share thinking at every stage, and give you confidence in the decisions being made.
I can work remotely and all meetings take place over video calls – or I can work directly beside you in your workplace – which is often handier for building relationships for larger collaborative projects. I’m flexible.
So whether it’s one project or ongoing support, we build it together.
-
Not at all. Most people come to me precisely because things feel messy.
Bring what you’ve got – notes, thoughts, ideas, problems. We’ll work it out together. No pressure. Just start by saying hello.
-
Primarily Squarespace, because it’s powerful and user-friendly for most clients. But I’ve also worked with WordPress, Magento, and others. The platform choice is never random – it’s about what’s right for your brand and future plans. I also work with specialist developers on larger corporate sites too.
-
Then I’ll say so – honestly and with care.
Every project and every client is different, and sometimes the best help I can give is to point you in the direction of someone else who’s a better fit – whether that’s another designer, an agency, or a different kind of expert.
I’ve been in this industry a while, and I’m always happy to make a recommendation if I can.
